How To Vacuum Seal Cuts of Meat?

To vacuum seal cuts of meat follow these steps:

  1. Prepare your meat: Depending on the type of meat slice it into smaller portions or separate it into smaller batches suitable for your family.
  2. Meats with sharp bones must be vacuum sealed very carefully as the bones can puncture the bag and compromise the seal.

  1. Divide the ground beef into the desired portion sizes.
  2. Place the ground beef in the vacuum seal bag and flatten it using your hand or a rolling pin. Flattened bags will stack easier and also the ground beef will defrost faster.
  3. Close the bag and press out to remove as much air as possible before sealing the bag.
  4. Start your machine to begin the sealing.
  5. Label the bag and store it in the freezer
